If their ceremony was a fairytale beginning, Aviva and Adam’s reception felt like the grand ballroom scene — full of color, movement, and the type of classic elegance people love about Newport weddings. ✨
Set beneath a tent on the grounds of The Chanler at the Cliff Walk, their celebration blended soft pastel florals, glowing chandeliers, and heartfelt military traditions in a way that felt both magical and meaningful.
A Tented Reception Filled With Romance
Walking into the tent was an immediate “wow” moment. Guests were greeted with twinkle lights, draped fabric, shimmering chandeliers, and florals in every direction. It created a warm, inviting atmosphere that surrounded their family and friends in color.
From blush to lilac, powder blue to soft ivory, the entire palette tied back to the garden-style florals used in their ceremony — a beautiful thread that carried throughout the entire day.
Tall Centerpieces That Made a Statement
Some tables featured tall clear trumpet vessels filled with overflowing pastel florals. These designs included:

It was lush, textured, and completely enchanting. The couple looked like they were seated inside their own garden, with blooms layered at every level.
The Showstopper: A Floral Ceiling Installation
Suspended over the dance floor was a dramatic floral ceiling installation — cascading delphinium, greenery, roses, and draping blooms that created an unforgettable backdrop.
As guests walked into the reception, their eyes naturally lifted upward. It brought height, romance, and a sense of grandeur to the tent.
This installation especially came alive in photos during their first dance and the military saber arch.
